On The Mark Film Productions was founded in 1994 by
  Mark Eder.  With his interest in film and Television he
  embarked on a career as a writer. This lead to acting in              several TV roles, Feature Films including some stunt work.
  Mark has had the opportunity to work alongside  Jon Voight
  Dennis Weaver, Sybill Shepherd,  Eric McCormack, John           Malkovich, Barry Pepper, Seth Green and Vin Diesl just            to name a few.

   When Mark was on set he was always keen to learn more and    he also found the behind the scenes work challenging so he         turned his talent to Producing and Directing. To date he has        produced and directed 9 projects and has lent his hand to            writing 15 scripts.  He set out to shoot his first film, a short,          shot on 16mm color film. "The Search" View  Upon                    completion it was entered into a first time filmmaker's festival.     To his bewilderment it was not accepted to be judged, as it        was said it was 'too good to be a first timer'. That                        disappointment actually meant that if it this was a first attempt,      and it was too good, that was great news, he had already           won.  With a well rounded experience in the industry Mark          has been involved in more than 50 productions, as an Actor,        Presenter, Writer,  Director, Producer and an Editor.

   Having lived in western Canada for numerous years, Owning       and Managing a Cattle Ranch, and Construction Company.

  Mark moved to Australia to a warmer climate in 2000 and         chance meeting spawned a Historical Documentary that               currently is used within the school curriculum. The                        Documentary “Australia Birth of a Nation” was the main             Feature program on the History Channel for Australia Day           2005.

 
  With Marks first TV Feature Film ‘Twists of Fate’, 
   On The Mark Film Productions Pty Ltd. began. ‘Twists              of Fate’ has enjoyed a viewing audience on Fox Satellite             TV, and rents in selected Video shops. 

   
   The company is now in the final stages of The Real DIY series    which informs people that renovations to their homes is no           rocket science and by doing the project for themselves, lots of    money can be saved. As well a full instructional DVD set on        construction practices for the home builder.    

   Corporations are now approaching us to produce DVDs             their DIY supplies to further educate their customers in their        products.

   More projects are in the pipeline and things are moving                forward rather quickly. There is another feature planned so 
   stay tuned.
